Holiday in Vent in Ötztal
The mountain village of Vent lies at 1,900m above sea level at the end of the Ötz valley. The mountain village is accessible by car in both summer and winter. In summer Italy is not far away over the Timelsjoch High mountain road. Vent is also possible to reach on public transport. There are regular public buses running from the Ötztal train station at the start of the valley to Vent. The nearest airport is Innsbruck - from here a shuttle bus takes over the journey.
How do I get to Vent in Ötztal?
The hotel Similaun is situated at the end of a small village. Follow the road through the village and across the river. Following a right hand bend you will find the hotel Similaun on the left. The bus stop “Vent Hotel Similaun” is directly in front of the hotel.
Arrival by car
Take the Inntal motorway to reach the beginning of the Ötz valley (exit Ötztal). Take the main road B186 to Zwieselstein. From Zwieselstein follow the side road L240 to the mountain village of Vent.
Arrival by train
From many European cities you can get a direct train to Ötztal station. From the station, catch a bus to take you up the valley. Change in Sölden for the bus to Vent.
Arrival by plane
Scheduled and charter flights from all over Europe land at Innsbruck airport in summer and winter. A shuttle bus service from the airport takes just 1.5 hours to Vent.
